How long does the order process take?

 

The length of the order process all depends on what type of order you are placing, the complexity of the design, the materials that will be needed (special embellishments, ribbons, etc.) or if it is based on an already designed piece from our website.

Order based on Pre-Designed Piece; this process generally is shorter then a custom order. Even changes to color and fonts will not be a delay. Depending on the amount of customization to the piece it can take anywhere from 2 - 6 weeks.

Custom Design from the ground up; this process is much more detailed and complex, you will have several design "meetings" by phone or email with your designer to ensure that your ideas are conveyed correctly so that we may implement them in just the way you had envisioned. Once you have filled out our Custom Order Form and approved a final proof your production will begin. This process can take anywhere from 4-9 weeks.

Personalized Stationery; Ordering our personalized stationery is straightforward. Online Proof turnaround is 24 hours. Once that is approved, depending on the quantity, your order will ship in 1-2 business days.

Favors & Accessories; If you are ordering a piece that is matching an already designed item, depending on the materials needed, 1-2 weeks. If you are ordering seating cards, we will need all of the seating arrangements in an Excel file, this can be a long process. You will proof all of the seating cards to ensure accuracy, please add 1 week.

 
  What are my payment options
 

Once you have decided to allow Tan-je-reen Design to create your stationery and have chosen a design, we will require a 50% deposit of your quoted price. Once your deposit is received we begin the layout, text placement and wording choices for your design. You will then have access to a personal web page for you and your family to view as many layouts and proofs that are necessary as we continue to make changes to font, text, colors, etc.

Tan-je-reen Design offers 3 convenient ways to accept payment from their customers; Personal Check, Money Order or Credit Card Payment through PayPal.

The remainder of your balance is due once you have given your final approval on your stationery pieces. We will then start printing and production once the balance is paid-in-full and the signed proof approval form is received.

 
  Custom Design price quotes
  Once you fill out our Custom Design Form you will then be contacted by us by email or phone with any questions we may have. From the details on the form and through our discussion with you, we will then post 2-3 different layout options on a web page for you to view with quotes for each one.
 
Proofs
  Online Proofs
 

We will provide you with a personal web page to view your preliminary layout proofs and then once your deposit is received and your customization begins, you will view all of your changes to text, color and layout on that same web page You will receive your final approved design by email along with a Final Proof Approval form that you will sign verifying that you have reviewed and gone over every detail in the piece and that it is ready for production.

 
  Genuine Sample
  If you would rather receive a genuine sample of your stationery piece, we will be happy to send you a genuine proof for a nominal fee and shipping.
 
  Final Approval Form
  This form will be emailed to you along with your final finished proof for your approval, you will sign and initial this form and return it to us. Once we receive this completed form and the remaining balance we will begin printing and production. Please click here to view a sample form
 
Refunds
  Refund Policy
  We apologize but once you have signed your Final Approval form and we have gone into production we cannot honor any refunds.
 
About Products
  Types of Printing
  As of right now we do not currently offer letter press, thermography, metallic ink, engraving or calligraphy. Tan-je-reen feels that the uniqueness of our custom designs and the quality of a handmade invitation will far surpass the beauty of fancy printing, we feel certain that your recipients will agree.
 
  Types of Paper Used
  We use only the finest quality, heavyweight cardstock to make our invitations, announcements and personalized notecards. Items that contain photos will be printed on photo quality double-sided matte or satin finish photo paper. If your design constitutes the use of specialty paper we will be happy to provide that to you.
 
  Assembly
  I am sure you know someone who ordered their invitations and when they arrived, they were in pieces, only to have to assemble the initiations themselves...Not here, at Tan-je-reen we assemble everything for you.
 
  Accessories
  We offer coordinating accessories to go with each piece of stationery. Please click here to view a sample of what we have to offer.
 
  Ribbons and Embellishments
  Some of our designs and custom orders will benefit from a beautifully tied ribbon or crystal with just the perfect placement. If you wish to add any of these adornments to your piece we will be happy to accommodate you. Our ribbon supplier has every color and thickness ribbon imaginable.
 
Envelopes
  Early Envelopes
  We are happy to send you your envelopes early so that you or your calligrapher can start addressing them in anticipation of your special day.
 
  Envelopes that are included in all prices
  White envelopes are included in the price of all our invitations, announcements and personalized stationery.
 
  Upgrading Envelopes
  You do have the opportunity to upgrade to colored envelopes or to use envelope liners, please be sure to include this request on the order form so that we can include the additional charge in your quote.
 
  Inner and Outer Envelopes
  We try not to use inner envelopes in an effort to be budget and environmentally friendly, if you do require the use of inner envelopes we can accommodate that request. Please mention your additional envelope request in the comments section of your order form.
 
Pricing
  Prices for Products on web site
  The prices that are found on our website are for those exact items, designed and printed that exact way (with the exception of changing fonts and ink colors). Although you can in fact order these items, they are also a great way to get inspired and to use as a starting point for your own custom design.
 
  Custom Pricing
  With each design proof that you receive you will also receive a quote for that design. Our items on this website, with the exception of personalized stationery, will vary once we speak to you and you tell us what it is you are you looking for. The prices can go lower and with additions can go higher. Once you fill out the order form and design your proofs we can give you a price quote.
 
Shipping
  Shipping Options
  We send all of our shipments by USPS Priority Mail with Delivery and Signature confirmation. If you prefer another form or faster delivery we will be happy to accommodate your request.

We are not a reseller of other designers work, if you want a "Designer Name" on your stationery or factory produced ensembles, we are not for you. If you want dedication, attention to detail, handmade and crafted, unique, one of kind stationery pieces... We are just for you!

Customer satisfaction is our priority, keeping it small helps it. We decided to become an on-line and by appointment only stationery boutique. This helps us to keep prices down and pass that savings on to you.
